BOMwiseTerms of Service
1. The service
BOMwise ("the Service") is a web application that analyzes electronic Bills of Materials (BOMs) and suggests alternative components with estimated cost savings and compliance indications. The Service is currently provided as a beta, free of charge, for evaluation purposes, and is intended for professional and business use. 2. Engineering disclaimer
All suggestions, prices, savings, compatibility scores and compliance indications are estimates generated by automated analysis (including AI models and third-party distributor data). They are provided for screening purposes only and do not replace engineering validation, datasheet review, certification assessment or commercial verification. You remain solely responsible for any design, sourcing or production decision.
3. Your data
BOMs you upload are processed to deliver the analysis and stored in your account so you can revisit results. We do not sell your data, and we do not share your BOMs with other customers. See the Privacy Policy for details. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time at info@bomwise.io.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse, reverse-engineer or overload the Service; upload data you have no right to process; use the output to build a competing automated service.
5. Availability
As a beta, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Usage limits may apply to ensure fair use of the Service.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BOMwise shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including costs arising from component selection, procurement or certification decisions based on the Service's output.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts.
